Project Scope:

Tritech was appointed the mechanical contractor responsible for the complete mechanical & process services to the shell & core and fit-out of APC’s facility in Cherrywood, Dublin. This process research facility and company headquarters has a gross floor area of 31,000 sq.ft.

The project was phased to facilitate early occupation by the client. The building consists of two basement levels and four floors. The mechanical scope included all mechanical & process services associated with the building including multiple research laboratories, offices, collaboration and amenity spaces.

Client vision/objectives:

The client vision was to embroider the two types of spaces together so that they appeared to be one whilst being physically separated.

Unique challenges of the project:

To deliver the architects vision the M+E services became part of the interior end product and required an attention to detail with every element of the works.

Tritech Methods/Innovations:

Tritech utilised point cloud scanning and detailed 3D modelling to create a digital twin, allowing the design team & stakeholders see the end product virtually before they could enjoy it in reality.
