This year Tritech asked everyone to dig deep to support three Irish charities: Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Children’s Health Foundation, and LauraLynn – Ireland’s Children’s Hospice.
TY Hamper Fund at Catholic University School in aid of St. Vincent de Paul
The TY Hamper Fund is a tradition at Catholic University School where the Transition Year boys raise money to provide food hampers to those in need in Dublin. The fund also provides food vouchers to inner-city schools for Breakfast Clubs. The school community contributes in various ways, including bringing in food, sponsoring a fast, and collecting donations on Grafton Street. The food is packed by the TY students and delivered by past pupils and parents to the various SVP communities.
In response to Tritech’s donation, the school said,“The Hamper Fund simply cannot happen without the kindness and generosity of companies such as Tritech Group. Many thanks again for your donation to the Hamper Fund.”
Children’s Health Foundation
The Children’s Health Foundation stands as a beacon of hope for countless families facing the challenges of caring for their sick children. Through their unwavering commitment to raising vital funds, they empower Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) hospitals – Crumlin, Temple Street, Tallaght, and Connolly – to provide exceptional care and support to young patients and their loved ones. Their generous contributions enable CHI to acquire cutting-edge medical equipment, fund groundbreaking research, and enhance patient amenities, ensuring that every child receives the best possible care throughout their treatment journey. With every donation, the Children’s Health Foundation nurtures hope, fosters healing, and transforms lives of children and families alike. Their dedication to making a difference is an inspiration to all, and their efforts continue to touch the lives of countless individuals, weaving a tapestry of compassion and resilience within the Irish healthcare landscape.
In response to Tritech’s donation, The Children’s Health Foundation said, “Thank you for your special gift to Children’s Health Foundation and for helping sick children and their families in CHI. It’s because of the extraordinary circle of care in Children’s Health Ireland hospitals and amazing supporters like you, that sick children have such a fighting chance. Your support makes all the difference.”
LauraLynn – Ireland’s Children’s Hospice
LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice, is a haven of comfort and care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families. Nestled in a peaceful setting in Dublin, LauraLynn provides palliative care to children from across Ireland, offering a range of services that address their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. The hospice’s team of compassionate professionals includes nurses, therapists, social workers, and bereavement counselors, who work together to create a nurturing environment where children and their families can feel safe, supported, and loved.
Tritech’s annual Christmas Jumper Day was a huge success, raising an incredible €1250. LauraLynn thanked Tritech for its donation, saying,
“On behalf of LauraLynn Ireland’s only Children’s Hospice, a huge thank you for your very thoughtful donation. Please be assured your support will make a real difference to the lives of many sick children & their families who rely on our care.”
Tritech is committed to giving back to the community and is proud to support these important causes.
