A Commitment To Excellence

Our eagerly anticipated annual Town Hall is a gathering that fuels excitement and fosters a strong sense of camaraderie. This motivating event serves as a platform for our thought leaders to unveil our strategic plans for the year to come. Engaging presentations and interactive sessions highlight the achievements and milestones of the past year while setting the stage for our ever-expanding business. The Town Hall offers a unique opportunity for colleagues to connect, exchange ideas, and build relationships, strengthening the bonds that form the bedrock of our collaborative culture. This year’s theme is ‘Commitment To Excellence’.

🔧 Company Strategic Direction: Emphasising Excellence

At Tritech, our commitment to excellence drives our strategic direction and fuels our ambition to excel in the mechanical and electrical engineering industry. In 2022, we embarked on an exciting journey by partnering with Enterprise Ireland, expanding our reach beyond Ireland’s borders and establishing our value proposition for clients worldwide.

👷‍♀️ Health and Safety: Prioritising a Safe Work Environment

We understand the paramount importance of health and safety in our industry. As part of our dedication to safeguarding our team, we invited James Gorry to share his powerful story about the transformative impact of choices. We discussed the various risks and potential injuries associated with on-site work, highlighting our robust policies and strategies for accident prevention.

🌱 Sustainability: Driving Environmental Responsibility

Tritech is deeply committed to sustainability and has embarked on a journey to reduce our environmental impact and promote social responsibility throughout our operations and supply chain. We focus on three key principles: product, business model, and lifestyle. To contribute to Ireland’s goal of achieving Net-Zero carbon by 2030, we explore various options to reduce embodied carbon in our construction processes, including off-site manufacturing, LEED and BREEAM certified projects, efficient waste management, low-carbon transportation methods through our electric fleet, and the implementation of renewable M&E solutions such as heat pumps and water monitors.

⚙️ Lean: Optimising Production Processes

To enhance efficiency and eliminate waste across all departments, Tritech has initiated a Lean journey. From maintenance and estimation to operations and procurement, we are constantly optimising our production processes to deliver exceptional outcomes. By embracing Lean principles, we strive for continuous improvement and ensure that every aspect of our operations contributes to our overall success.

💡 Technology and Innovation: Staying at the Forefront

At Tritech, we understand the importance of embracing technology and fostering innovation. To protect our business, staff, and clients, we invited Keith Lynch, a Microsoft 365 Technical Specialist from IT.ie, our trusted IT partner of 23 years, to enlighten us about cybersecurity measures and the controls we have in place. Additionally, we conducted a review of our Procore implementation and discussed future plans. We also explored real-time project tracking through a case study on the Integer site using Structionsite’s automated tracking system. Furthermore, we implemented SonicWall’s firewall, utilising cutting-edge technology such as real-time monitoring and deep packet inspection to identify and prevent cyber threats.

🏗️ Pre-Construction: Building a Strong Foundation

At Tritech, we recognize the significance of a solid pre-construction plan in ensuring project success. By engaging stakeholders early on, providing guidance, incorporating design input, implementing budgets, employing value engineering, managing risks, and improving communication and collaboration, our pre-construction phase sets the foundations for excellence. Our next-generation pre-construction plans focus on expanding into the eurozone, diverse sectors including data centres and life sciences, sustainable construction solutions, modular and pre-fabricated construction methods, AI technology, smart tendering, and embracing Lean and integrated project delivery approaches.

📚 Training and Professional Development: Nurturing Growth

At Tritech, we foster a culture that encourages employees to achieve mastery in their specialised fields while developing a broad understanding of related areas. We support career development, provide opportunities for further education, and offer apprenticeships to ensure our team members are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their roles.
