Project Scope:

Tritech were the electrical contractor for this re-vamp project. The hotel was 5 floors above a basement with 136 bedrooms occupying the top four floors. We completed the lighting & emergency lighting, general services, emergency call system, fire detection, mechanical services wiring & distribution boards upgrade.

Client vision/objectives:

Hotel refurbishment was designed with a chic & luxurious boutique feel as a space for guests to relax and unwind in the heart of the bustling area of Temple Bar. Each room has been designed with guest comfort and modern electrical lighting, power & comms availability.

Unique challenges of the project:

The upgrade works were completed over seven phases in a challenging occupied environment. Services to all populated guest areas had to be maintained during the works without any disruptions. Reception & staff areas had to stay open 24 hours of the day.

Tritech Methods/Innovations:

This project required a high degree of coordination of services. With Tritech being lead coordinator, an intensive dilapidation study was carried out on each phase ensuring outages did not affect staff or guest alike. A compiled detailed record of the existing installation ensured smooth transition from phase to phase.
